Three fresh faces take the ice as the Avs take on the New Jersey Devils. Big Z get’s a second chance in Roy’s system and plays big minutes. Wagner gets rewarded for his hard work and readiness off the ice. Bigras finally gets to touch NHL ice and doesn’t suck – which is a good enough start to what we all hope is a long NHL stint with the Avs.
- Bigras shows up wearing # 3 for the Avs, a number that been worn by 7 other Avs players in the history of the club including Aaron Miller, Ryan O’Byrne and Karlis Skrastins.
