While researching the goaltending situation and interviewing AJ Haefele of the BSN Avalanche podcast an interesting topic came up. It’s one of those things that I’ve been bitching and moaning about since the Avs started doing it and up until this very conversation, I’d never heard a good and valid reason for doing it.
